This makes for a level of freshness and an efficient production cycle that yield products with unparalleled quality and traceability from field to finished product. Our partners maintain 4,000 hectares of land for cultivation.

Bleuets Fortin et Fils owns thousands of hectares of wild blueberry fields in the Lac St. Jean region and on Québec’s Côte-Nord region.
One of the larger growers, Bleuets Fortin et Fils’ proximity and product quality make them a perfect partner for Bleuets Mistassini Ltée.
Bleuets Fortin et Fils harvests the berries every day. The fruit is stored on-site in refrigerated warehouses at the end of each harvest to preserve its freshness. The entire operation is overseen by trained supervisors.
The advantages of our “Individually Quick Frozen” or IQF technique
IQF offers a number of advantages over conventional freezing methods:
Better taste, enhanced freshness, superior colour and appearance
Superior nutritional preservation
Easier to handle out of the package
Once frozen, this super berry can be stored for up to 3 years (under recommended conditions) while maintaining all its flavour and goodness. It does not contain any additives or preservatives.
